Romeike Update - Safe, For Now

I previously posted here about the Romeikes, the German Christian homeschooling family who fled to the United States for asylum because the government in their home country was threatening to take their children away (withholding your children from the government schools being a crime in Germany). The Obama administration has been trying to send them back whence they came. Following the Supreme Court's disappointing refusal to hear their case, they have been allowed to stay due to an unexplained outbreak of decency and common sense at the Department of Homeland Security.  What will happen in regard to this family, and similar families in the future, remains to be seen . . .
