Frederica von Stade - Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming
This will be my last Advent musical posting, I think. This is one of my favorite songs of the Advent Season, especially when beautifully sung, as it is here by Frederica von Stade.
O Flower, whose fragrance tender
With sweetness fills the air,
Dispel with glorious splendour
The darkness everywhere;
True man, yet very God,
From Sin and death now save us,
And share our every load.
