Today is the traditional date of the Feast of
Epiphany, which in the Catholic Church chiefly commemorates the coming of the
Magi to adore the baby Jesus - the manifestation, the Epiphany, of Christ as the Savior for all the nations, not just Israel. Also,
while most of us are back to work full time and resuming our regular routines,
the liturgical Season of Christmas continues for the rest of the week, so . . . Merry
Christmas, and a Blessed Epiphany!
Praise
the LORD, all nations! Extol him, all peoples!
For
great is his steadfast love toward us;
And
the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever.
Praise
the LORD! (Psalm 117)
