A stunningly beautiful Sanctus from yet another under-appreciated composer, Johannes Brahms. I remember as a very young lad being taught about "The Three Bs": Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms. Aside from the tune known as the "Lullaby", Brahms is pretty much a silent partner in that triumvirate these days. Maybe he can be the opening act for Haydn on his comeback tour?
